Copy editors must be the first to go (MSNBC edition)
March 6, 2009
In the vein of an earlier post on www.broadandcecil.com, The Temple News’ blog, comes this. The MSNBC Web site incorrectly named a well-known Vince Fumo-controlled non-profit in an article on Fumo’s trial. The actual name is The Citizen’s Alliance for Better Neighborhoods.

In the article, the non-profit was given a different, perhaps more fitting, name.
From the Web site:
“Fumo was charged with 139 counts of alleged corruption stemming from dealings with his South Philly non-profit, Citizens Alliance for Political and Personal Gain.” (emphasis added)
Ouch. I don’t know who that burns more, MSNBC or Fumo.
